Creating Joyful Sensory Experiences for Kids

As a parent, I always sought engaging activities for my little ones. I noticed how much they loved exploring different textures and colors, but finding the right materials was often a challenge. This inspired me to create Little Hands Play, a business dedicated to providing ready-to-use sensory play kits that make messy play easy and fun at home.

Each kit is thoughtfully designed for children aged 2-6, incorporating Montessori principles to encourage exploration and creativity. I wanted to ensure that every child could enjoy the benefits of sensory play without the hassle of preparation. My goal is to spark joy and curiosity in every little hand that dives into our kits.

Starting this business has been a labor of love, combining my passion for early childhood development with my desire to support other parents. I believe that sensory play is not just about fun; it’s a vital part of learning and growth. I’m excited to share these experiences with families and watch as children discover the world through play.

Non-Toxic Materials

Your child’s safety is our priority. We carefully select non-toxic materials for our sensory mixes, including rice, pasta, food colouring, and non-toxic acrylic paint. Our products are made with little hands in mind, so children can explore, scoop, pour, and play with confidence.

3D-Printed Loose Parts

Our sensory kit loose parts are 3D printed by us using PLA filament. PLA is a plant-based bioplastic commonly used in 3D printing. We carefully select the materials we use to create our loose parts and design them specifically for sensory play.

Sustainable manufacturing

From the very beginning, we knew our collection would have to be not just beautiful and useful, but also made of sustainable materials. That's why each of our product is made of locally sourced, preferably recycled materials.

Safety & Supervision

Some components may pose a choking hazard and are not suitable for children under 3. Always use our kits with active adult supervision. Clear age recommendations are provided with every kit.
